Do I need a licence or any training?

No. All our hire is operated, with a fully trained IPAF operator who comes with the machine and carries out the work at height for you, so you don't need any licence or training.

What's included in the price?

Every operated hire includes the IPAF-trained operator, in-date LOLER certification, £5m public liability insurance, and delivery from our Runcorn yard and back. Where we carry out the work ourselves, the job and any materials are quoted on top, so we confirm your full price first.

How much does it cost?

The operated platform is £250 for a half day (4 hours) and £350 for a full day (8 hours), including the operator, delivery and insurance. Where we do the work ourselves, the job and any materials are quoted on top, so you get one clear price before we book.

How quickly can you come out?

We aim to respond to every enquiry the same day and can often get to site quickly across Halton, Cheshire and Merseyside.

What can the platform be used for?

We carry out chimney repairs, gutter and roof cleaning, solar-panel cleaning and pigeon proofing ourselves. We do not do roof repairs: slipped tiles, re-tiling, ridge work and lead flashing are a roofer's trade. For those, and for specialist installs (solar panels, aerials, CCTV, flues, signage, painting and tree or hedge work), we provide the platform and a trained operator while your own tradesperson does the work safely at height.

Do you take the waste away?

Yes. On the jobs we carry out ourselves (cleared gutter muck, moss, old tiles and rubble) we take the waste away, and it is included in the price.

How do I pay, and is there a deposit?

Customers pay on completion of the work, and commercial accounts can settle within 7 days. For larger or longer bookings we may ask for a deposit, agreed with you on a case-by-case basis when you book.

What areas do you cover?

Runcorn, Widnes, Frodsham, Helsby, Northwich, Warrington, St Helens, Liverpool and Chester, plus the surrounding areas on request.
