Chimneys in Liverpool
South Liverpool's older suburbs are known for their grand roofs and the tall, many-potted stacks that come with them — handsome, but a hundred-plus years of Mersey weather has emptied the joints and cracked the flaunching on a great many. Level With the Stack, No Scaffold
We do the whole job in Liverpool from our operated vehicle-mounted platform. It sets up on the drive or kerbside in minutes and lifts our operator level with the stack, so the mortar is raked out and repointed with the chimney in front of him rather than reached over a ridge from a ladder. Cracked or hollow flaunching is broken out and renewed, loose pots are re-bedded or replaced, and cowls and caps are fitted at the same time if you want them.
The debris comes down with us rather than into your gutters, and you get photos of the stack before we start and after we finish, so you can see what you paid for without going up a ladder yourself.
