Our price works differently: it’s an operated hire, so the £250 or £350 covers the platform and the person driving it. Scaffolding isn’t priced high because scaffolders are greedy, it’s priced high because of what actually goes into it. Two or three people spend a day putting up poles and boards, then come back another day to take it all down again. The materials have to be delivered, stacked and checked before anyone climbs a rung.
